3. Learn to identify word class. If students can identify whether the word is a noun, verb or adjective than they can eliminate wrong answers on the basis of grammar rules.
Sentence Improvement/ Phrase Replacement:

3. Identify nouns, verbs and adjectives in the highlighted phrase

1. To solve complex sentences, practice on Subject-Verb Agreement (SVA). It will be helpful in error correction and detection.
